VBS Kid’s Club 2011

The theme of VBS was Taste and See:  God Is Good.  Bible stories that include food helped children see a connection between food and faith.  Through worship, music, drama, and creative Bible-focused activities, they learned to know, love, worship, and respect the God who supplies our needs.  They also became aware of food and water situations in the global community and were motivated to share.  Our mission project was centered on Penny Power, a project to help raise money for clean water to drink.  The week ended Friday evening with a Great Banquet (ice cream social), to which parents and the church community were invited to celebrate with the children and staff.
